Beginning the Summer 2023 semester, the Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMSc) program will offer an additional option of distance learning for students during Year 1 (Semesters
PMED 1-3).

This augmented delivery is being offered as a pilot project during the 2023-24 academic year and is intended to facilitate attendance of students who may currently be facing travel restrictions and for younger students requiring supervised transition to living overseas.

The distance learning program is open to all students, current and incoming during Year 1 of the BMSc program. This option is not available to students enrolled in the MD program.

Availability of course delivery by professor-led live distance learning is designed to provide students with the benefit of additional support while maintaining the same quality of education and curriculum as the on-campus program.

The class sessions will be delivered through a robust and user-friendly learning management system, and students will have access to our experienced faculty and all support services. Tuition, attendance, evaluation and all institutional policies will remain identical to the on-campus program.

The mission of ߣߣƵ has always been to provide equitable access to quality education and this expansion to distance learning is another step towards fulfilling that commitment.
